The energetic team at Waka-Roc Sports Club has established yet another formidable challenge with what promises to be an important event on the New Zealand cycling calendar: The Wellington to Auckland 7 Day Cycle Challenge.
Organiser and veteran cyclist, Stephen Cox describes this event as an "un-missable experience. It combines the essential elements of a great event" explains Stephen. "Beautiful, challenging and do-able!"
"We've recently purchased the WheelTime electronic timing system, and the 7 Day Cycle Challenge is our maiden voyage using the system. We wanted something innovative to celebrate this event, and the Team at Times-7 Sport suggested a customised WheelTag."
"It's perfect," says Stephen Cox. "The design really does reflect our image and what we're trying to achieve - fun, friendly and affordable".
"The customised WheelTag is certainly catching on in cycling circles," comments Theresa Cabot, Sales & Marketing Manager at Times-7 Sport. "Not only does it present an opportunity to attract additional sponsors, it adds an extra element of professionalism to the event or club. Here is a strong branding message that Waka-Roc can now use for all of their events."
"Stephen was brilliant to work with," adds Theresa. "He was willing to try a new idea, and I think the funky WheelTag design says a lot about the Waka-Roc philosophy!"
