Times-7 Sport is pleased to announce Orion Timing as a new partner for a number of its markets.
Orion Timing is a French-based company that designs and manufactures a range of event timing solutions. Laurent Bourgon is the company founder and has over 16 years experience in the electronic timing industry.
Orion produces active chip timing systems providing accurate and reliable results at a quarter of the cost of the competition. Times-7 Sport President Michael Lynch said "we have been searching the globe looking for an active solution for nearly two years now. We were only prepared to partner with someone who could provide just what we wanted and we were not going to accept second best. Laurent and his team at Orion fit the bill perfectly and we are confident we will both benefit from this alliance."
Orion provides timing solutions for a vast array of sports including motorsport, yachting, triathlon, cycling and running. The list of products ranges from simple active loops through to photo finish cameras. Enquiries from all sports are welcome.
This is a great product portfolio covering a whole range of sports and we are looking forward to continual improvement for our current customers as well as providing timing equipment for a whole new customer base," said Times-7 Sport General Manager, Australia, Peter Armson, who added "the versatility of the equipment is exceptional and we always work with our customers to enhance their offer."
