Hawkes Bay's Ramblers Cycling Club continues to be an early adopter of all parts of the WheelTime product offer. Not only were they the first cycling club in New Zealand to purchase WheelTime, they now have the honour of being the first club to design their own uniquely numbered WheelTags.
"Ramblers organise a lot of events and races that often attract visiting cyclists," says Ivan Aplin, immediate past Chairman. "We wanted to create something distinctive that promoted our club and enabled us to track the cyclist who was issued the WheelTag."
"We now have no problem with missing WheelTags" continues Ivan Aplin, "as we can easily track exactly who has each one."
"The WheelTags look absolutely fantastic," enthuses Theresa Cabot, Sales and Marketing Manager at Times-7 Sport. "Ramblers are such a forward thinking and proactive club. They deserve a great deal of credit for the popularity of cycling in the Hawke's Bay."
"You don't have to be creative to design your own WheelTag," says Theresa. "We offer a low cost design service to ensure you maximize whatever you are promoting."
"There is also a huge opportunity to work in with sponsors with the WheelTag," adds Theresa. "Prominently displaying their logo gives them great brand exposure everywhere the cyclist rides. There are plenty of opportunities for sponsors with one great option being to use the WheelTag as a loyalty card. The cyclist receives a discount on purchases of the sponsor's product increasing foot traffic and ensuring repeat business."
It can be a challenging process finding a point of difference for your club or your sponsors. A custom WheelTag offers a fresh approach to promoting your message or brand.
