Times-7 Sport Limited and Lynx System Developers, Inc are pleased to announce the launch of new product offerings that harness the power of each others complementary technologies.
After extensive integration testing, market leader in photo-finish technologies Lynx Systems, is now able offer its customers automatic identification of cyclists in it FinishLynx photos. The solution integrates RFID data from T-7 WheelTime and photo-finish data from the high resolution EtherLynx cameras into the FinishLynx software for the most comprehensive hi-resolution timing system available in the market.
Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Lynx is passionate about enhancing its product offerings to address a growing customer demand for ‘chip timing' solutions.
"Underlying all Lynx offerings is a philosophy that all our products will link together seamlessly. The launch of the integrated solution builds on this philosophy. We are excited to be working with Times-7 Sport to offer T-7 WheelTime to our customers" states Ed Evansen, CEO of Lynx.
Under a reciprocal distribution agreement, Times-7 Sport is now offering its customers the FinishLynx product line. "It's a perfect example of harnessing the power of two market leading companies to provide our customers with the best solution possible" says Michael Lynch, General Manager of Times-7 Sport. "The FinishLynx camera can be integrated with both T-7 WheelTime for cycling and the IPICO Sports DF platform for running and multi-sport."
Cycling Australia had the honor of being the first in the world to integrate their new FinishLynx camera with the T-7 WheelTime system at the Junior National Championships at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra in September 2009.
"It was a no-brainer for us" says Ron Bonham of Cycling Australia. "We had the Lynx camera on the finish line integrated with the WheelTime system, so when high speed pelotons race across the finish line, we can now identify all riders in a bunch, with individual times to 1/2000 second resolution."
"The combined offering from Times-7 Sport and Lynx expands our solutions-based approach to providing customers with a range of timing technologies" enthuses Michael Lynch, General Manager of Times-7 Sport. "We see a growing opportunity to service all of our customers requirements for sports timing technologies and this agreement serves to deliver on that."
