SuperSprint and co-naming rights sponsors Nissan and BRW present the NISSAN/BRW Corporate Triathlon National Series 2010. The series has returned for 2010, ready to satisfy that corporate competitive spirit within! Now in its 23rd year, the series continues to build on its iconic status amongst the Australian corporate community.
The unique event format fosters the development of important corporate values such as team work, company pride and camaraderie, whilst simultaneously promoting the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.
The first round of the series was held in Melbourne today as 5,300 people took part in this prestigious event. The cool weather did not deter the athletes and the testing course at Elwood ensured all participants were pushed to the limit.
SuperSprint General Manager Chris Price said "We look forward to this event each year and it is imperative that the timing and results are spot on. The Ipico system worked reliably and we were able to have the results available as soon as the race finished."
Head of Timing Services for SuperSprint Jamie Marks added "It is always a test for our organization and our equipment at an event like this. The Ipico system enabled us to capture all times, splits and placings accurately and efficiently. "
Times-7 Sport Event manager Gavin Chaplow was also on hand at the event ensuring all ran smoothly and said "We worked with the guys at SuperSprint prior to the event to plan the layout and how the results were going to look. The end product was excellent and all parties are very happy."
