Buller Gorge Marathon embraces new timing technology

In February this year, the Buller Gorge Marathon became Times-7 Sport's first South Island customer to purchase their own timing system to use at this iconic event.  “Our participants need more accurate and instant results than can be achieved by manual timing.  We selected Times-7 Sport to supply us with the latest in electronic timing from IPICO Sports.  We’ve found the total package, including T-7 Sportscore, has made it incredibly easy to manage and time our event, with accurate results available at the push of a button.  Next year, we plan to add a major sponsor's brand to the timing tags to use as a discount/loyalty card and keep as a memento of the event”, says event organiser, Dennis Streaker.
